About Our Bus Service #

Bus Service

We are very pleased to be able to offer families a bus service. Rehoboth operates this service in-house, employing our own drivers and Fleet Manager to take good care of our students and the service.

Three daily routes are available, servicing the Canning Vale, Cockburn, and Hills areas. A transfer service between the Wilson and Kenwick campuses is also available. All students are welcome to use the bus service on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis. Parents can complete a Bus Application Form and view the pricing information below.

Please contact Jenn Keatings, our Bus Service Administrator, if you have any questions.

Terms and Conditions of Bus Service Use
  1. The bus service will only be provided to College students who demonstrate acceptable standards of behaviour in keeping with the Christian ethos of the College. Ultimately, the behaviour of students is the responsibility of parents. Parents who wish their children to use the bus service are requested to read these conditions with their children. They summarise the standards of behaviour expected of students as described in our Bus Standards and Conditions of Use Policy.
  2. The driver’s instructions are to be adhered to at all times.
  3. We reserve the right to change bus timetables and routes from time to time to ensure an efficient route for all students and families. When this occurs, we will make all reasonable attempts to contact affected families. Please refer to the BusMinder app for the most up to date schedule.
  4. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as road closures, accidents, or extreme weather, we reserve the right to vary transport arrangements for students. Whilst every effort is made to contact parents about these changes, it may not always be possible to do so in advance.
  5. Families who wish to terminate their bus application should advise the Bus Service Administrator of this decision.
  6. Please note: Casual vacancies may not be available if buses are filled to capacity.
  7. Bus fees may increase periodically in line with the cost of providing this service.

At Rehoboth Christian College, we are busy discovering God’s story for us. It is a story about how He has provided a safe, secure environment for Christian families to send their children to be educated; a place where students are taught to think Christianly about the world and their place in it. Rehoboth was also only the second school of its kind in Australia at its opening; a school where Jesus Christ was to be honoured as Lord of all.
