Legacy Giving #
Throughout Rehoboth’s history, families, Staff, grandparents, churches, and friends have shared a commitment to Christian education that places Jesus Christ at the centre of all things.
Their generosity has helped created thriving learning environments, supported families, and provided opportunities that continue to impact Students today. No matter the size, every legacy gift contributes to the future of Rehoboth Christian College.
Through careful stewardship, gifts can support:
- development of facilities and learning environments
- Student programs and resources
- strategic initiatives and future opportunities
- the ongoing mission of distinctly Christian education.
Steps to Giving #
Step 1: Consider Your Legacy
After making provision for your loved ones, you may wish to include a gift to Rehoboth Christian College as part of your legacy. There are several ways to include the College in your Will:
- a percentage of your estate
- a specific sum of money
- the residue of your estate – after family and other beneficiaries have been provided for, you may choose to leave the remainder or a share of the remainder of your estate
- a specific asset – this could include property, shares, investments, or other assets.
Step 2: Create or Update Your Will
You may choose to:
- work with a solicitor or estate planning professional
- use an online will-writing service
- update an existing Will through a codicil or amendment.
Whichever method you choose, we recommend ensuring your wishes are recorded clearly and in a legally valid manner.
Step 3: Include Rehoboth Christian College
Suggested wording can be found below. Wording provided should be considered alongside your personal circumstances and reviewed with your solicitor.
Step 4: Let us Know
Informing the College of your intentions is entirely optional; however, it gives us the opportunity to thank you and ensure we understand any wishes you may have regarding your gift. All conversations are treated confidentially.
