Resignations should be submitted in writing. Where a resignation from employment with Rehoboth is accepted verbally, it should be followed by written confirmation by the employee within five business days.
The CEO (or delegate) should immediately confirm in writing to the staff member his or her acceptance (or otherwise) of the resignation.
The Principal or most Senior Teacher will ensure all property is returned.
The Finance Manager will ensure that all human resource files are closed, outstanding monies are paid, and the database is updated.
Upon receipt of notice to terminate employment from a staff member, the opportunity to have an exit interview with the CEO will be offered.
Where references are requested, they are to be signed only by a member of the Senior Leadership Team unless otherwise approved.
