- Principal responsibility: The Principal/supervisor is to ensure timely orientation in each are covered by the checklist.
- Multiple new starters: Where there are multiple new starters (e.g. at the beginning of the College year) the principle/supervisor may decide to conduct joint rather than individual orientation in some areas.
- Signing off orientation: The Principal/supervisor is to initial each section when orientation in that area has been completed to the satisfaction of both parties.
- The Business Office: The original of the completed orientation checklist is to be forwarded to the business office and stored on the employees personnel file. A copy should be provided to the employee by the principal/supervisor.
