Uniform Policy and Shops #
- The wearing of the full College uniform is compulsory for all students. This handbook is provided to all families upon enrolment and annually thereafter and is the authoritative reference for College uniform matters. Please keep this handbook to avoid later confusion.
- If a student is unable to wear any item of the correct uniform on a particular day, an explanatory note must be sent by a parent to the class teacher before schools starts in the morning.
- If a student is found to be wearing incorrect uniform the following steps will be implemented:
- a note will be sent home to correct the fault;
- if this is not forthcoming the parents will be contacted by the College to discuss the issue;
- students may be excluded from attending school for repeated uniform infringements.
- The cooperation of parents and students in maintaining the high standards of appearance expected of our students is much appreciated.

We are pleased to be able to offer parents secure online ordering through our uniform supplier, Perm-A-Pleat. You will be contacted when your order is ready for collection so please ensure you provide a current phone number when ordering.

Black Leather School Shoes #
We want to avoid having footwear become an area for competition amongst students, so we expect students to wear a conservative, mainstream style of shoe that provides good support for their feet.
Please contact the Administration Office if there may be any doubt about the suitability of shoes you are considering purchasing.
The College will be unable to approve unsuitable shoes simply because they have been purchased and worn. There are many suitable styles of school shoes available, so there is no reasons for students to wear unsuitable styles.
School shoes must be all black only. Shoes should be plain and not feature any decorative details such as cut-out shapes.
If parents choose to shop at Betts Kids or Clark’s, the following guide to suitable styles will be helpful:
- Betts: Stitch, Subject, Trilogy, Direct
- Clark’s: Daytona, Elise, Library, Denver
- Unsuitable styles: Raider, Respond, Pupil, Indiana
These are examples only of acceptable school shoes. Retailers will have similar styles which will also be acceptable. Parents should use these examples as a guide for purchasing shoes.
Important features of a good school shoe include:
- fastening with laces (preferred), buckles, or velcro straps. No slip-on or elastic straps are permitted;
- a dress style upper normal for school shoes, without any sports-style features;
- a heel which extends for the width of the shoe;
- a heel no higher than 45mm as measured to the bottom of the welt at the back of the heel;
- completely black in colour, without coloured laces, stitching, or other coloured features;
- a ‘rugged’ appearance on the base of the shoe (if desired) to assist with grip, but care must be taken that this does not make the shoe resemble a sports shoe or desert boot;
- a fit below the ankle, and must not be any kind of boot.
